Antenna module (ATM), incorrectly matched

Fault-tracing information
Diagnostic trouble code (DTC) ATM-0001 is stored if the antenna module (ATM) is not adapted to the same market as the car. For example an antenna module (ATM) for the Japanese market is installed in a car adapted for the EU, US or AUS.
If the fault is intermittent, it has been registered previously but is no longer present. Intermittent faults can be caused by interference at start up of the antenna module (ATM) or may be a different type of fault which occurs on different occasions. The fault is evaluated depending on how it occurs.
If the fault recurs, replace the antenna module (ATM).
If the fault is permanent, check that the radio wavebands and frequency settings are configured for the relevant market. This can be read off from vehicle communication for the central electronic module (CEM), reading off data for vehicle configuration, waveband and frequency settings radio. Replace the antenna module (ATM) if the radio is configured for the correct market.
Remedy as necessary.
