Preparatory work
Ignition off
Ignition off.
Removal
Removing the audio module (AUD)
Push the cargo compartment side panel to one side. See: Side panel loadspace Side Panel Loadspace.
Remove:
- the 3 M6 nuts
- the control module.
Disconnect the connectors.
Note! If the vehicle is equipped with global positioning system module (GPS) (1), it must be transferred to the new audio module (AUD).
Installation

Installing the audio module (AUD)
Note! Check that there is no dirt in the optical connectors.
The bend radius of the optic cables must not be less than 25 mm.
Install:
- the connectors
- the control module.
- 3 M6 nuts.
Install the cargo compartment side panel. See: Side panel loadspace Side Panel Loadspace.
Finishing
Note! After replacing the audio module (AUD), new software must be ordered and programmed.
