Checking that the RTI screen closes

Checking the component
Check that nothing is preventing the screen from closing.
Check fuse no.18 in the integrated relay / fusebox in the passenger compartment.
Check the cable between display screen terminal #J18 and control module terminal #C12 for a short-circuit to supply voltage according to Checking wiring and terminals. Permanent fault Checking Wiring and Terminals. Permanent Fault , for a short-circuit to ground according to Checking wiring and terminals. Permanent fault Checking Wiring and Terminals. Permanent Fault and for an open-circuit according to Checking wiring and terminals. Permanent fault Checking Wiring and Terminals. Permanent Fault.
Remedy as necessary.

Was a fault detected?

Yes - Fault Found

No - Replacing the component

Replacing the component
Try replacing the display screen.
Ignition on.
Deploy and close the screen with the RTI switch on the steering wheel or with the remote control.
