Remedy the CD-ROM player connector K and the RTI connector A for contact resistance and oxidation according to Checking wiring and terminals. Intermittent faults Checking Wiring and Terminals. Intermittent Faults.
Check the wiring between the RTI control module terminals #A7, #A19 and #A22 and the CD-ROM player terminals #K3, #K4 and #K5. Check for an open-circuit according to Checking wiring and terminals. Intermittent faults Checking Wiring and Terminals. Intermittent Faults. Check for a short-circuit to ground according to Checking wiring and terminals. Intermittent faults Checking Wiring and Terminals. Intermittent Faults.
Remedy as necessary.
