Sun Visor: Service and Repair

Sun visor with lighting and / or Home-Link

Removal
- Remove the soundproofing panel on the driver's side. See Dashboard Dashboard
- Disconnect the connector from the mounting and separate
- Remove the tape securing the wiring to the immobilizer control module
- Tape a piece of cord to the end of the wiring
- Remove the grab handle and the A post panel. See Panels
- Remove the wiring from the clips and tape on the A post
- Pull up the wiring and switch by the A post and dashboard, but only so that the wiring can be removed from the tape
- Remove the sun visor and route the cable through the hole.

Installation
- Route the wiring through the hole and install the sun visor
- Tape a piece of cord to the end of the wiring and pull it between the A post and the dashboard
- Secure the wiring on the A post
- Secure the wiring at the immobilizer
- Install the switch
- Install the soundproofing panel
- Install the A post panel and the grab handle in reverse order.
