Checking the signal cable
Check combined instrument panel and outside temperature sensor connector for contact resistance and oxidation according to Checking wiring and terminals. Intermittent faults Checking Wiring and Terminals. Intermittent Faults.
Check signal cable and ground lead between combined instrument panel #A24 (breakout box #24) and #A25 (breakout box #25) and outside temperature sensor #1 and #2 for an intermittent open-circuit according to Checking wiring and terminals. Intermittent faults Checking Wiring and Terminals. Intermittent Faults.
Check signal cable between combined instrument panel #A24 (breakout box #24) and outside temperature sensor #1 for an intermittent short-circuit to ground according to Checking wiring and terminals. Intermittent faults Checking Wiring and Terminals. Intermittent Faults.
