DTC 4-2-0

DTC 4-2-0. CONTROL UNIT FAULT IN PROGRAM MEMORY:








- Condition for DTC:
Control unit checks that its internal signals are correct. If it finds they are not, it stores DTC 4-2-0.

- Cause of fault:
Control unit fault.

- Symptoms:
Fault warning to driver. LEDs by A/C and REC buttons flash for 20 sec.

Check DTC:
- Delete DTCs. Deleting DTCS
- Start engine and let it run for a little while.
- Switch engine off.
- Ignition on.
- Check if DTC recurs: Start test mode 1 and read off DTCs. Initializing Test Modes
