1 Air Line

4 Nm

Between the adaptive suspension valve block and the compressor.

Clean connections before loosening.

Air escapes when connections are unscrewed.

Protect threaded connection from dirt.

2 Compressor

Removal and installation without an adaptive suspension valve block, refer to => [ Compressor, without Adaptive Suspension Valve Block ] Compressor, without Adaptive Suspension Valve Block.

Removal and installation with an adaptive suspension valve block, refer to => [ Compressor, with Adaptive Suspension Valve Block ] Compressor, with Adaptive Suspension Valve Block.

Cannot be serviced

3 Bolt

5 Nm

4 Damper Element

5 Adaptive Suspension Valve Block (NX7)

Removing and Installing, refer to => [ Adaptive Suspension Valve Block ] Service and Repair.

Connector assignment of the air lines,

6 Bracket

For the adaptive suspension valve block.

7 Bolt

5 Nm

8 Air Line

4 Nm

Clean pipe connection before loosening.

Air escapes when connections are unscrewed.

Protect threaded connection from dirt.

9 Bolt

5 Nm

For the compressor and the adaptive suspension valve block.

12 Bracket

For the compressor.

13 Rubber Bushing

Replace only as complete unit.

14 Bracket

For the compressor.

15 Bolt

5 Nm

16 Rubber Bushing

Replace only as complete unit.

18 Intake Pipe

19 Air Line

4 Nm

Between the adaptive suspension valve block and the compressor.

Clean connections before loosening.

Air escapes when connections are unscrewed.

Protect threaded connection from dirt.

Connector Assignment of the Air Lines






1. Black, drain line.

2. Blue, internal air line between the adaptive suspension valve block and the compressor.

3. Yellow, air line toward the right rear air spring shock absorber.

4. Violet, air line toward the left front air spring shock absorber.

5. Red, air line toward the left rear air spring shock absorber.

6. Green, air line toward the right front air spring shock absorber.

7. Black, air line from the compressor to the accumulator.
