Transmission Fluid Circuit, Bleeding
- Check and add transmission fluid as necessary. Refer to => [ Checking ] ATF Level, Checking and Filling.
Wear protective eyewear.
- Perform a road test. the transmission fluid temperature must reach at least 100 °C (212 °F) to bleed the circuit.
When the air leaves the circuit, the fluid level in the transmission decreases. Therefore, the level must be checked again later after the fluid cools.
- Let the transmission fluid cool down to 30 °C (86 °F).
- Check the transmission fluid level again. Refer to => [ Transmission Fluid Level, Checking and Filling ] ATF Level, Checking and Filling.
