Fuel Rail and Injectors Overview






Fuel Rail and Injectors Overview


Follow the safety measures for releasing the high side fuel. Refer to => [ High Side Fuel Pressure, Releasing ] Service and Repair.






1 Cylinder 1 Fuel Injector (N30) to Cylinder 4 Fuel Injector (N33)

Removing and installing, refer to => [ Fuel Injectors ] Fuel Injectors.

2 Bolt

8 Nm

3 Fuel Rail

Removing and installing, refer to => [ Fuel Rail ] Fuel Rail.

4 Low Pressure Fuel Hose

To the high pressure pump.

5 Pressure Relief Valve

30 Nm

To remove and install, remove the intake manifold. Refer to => [ Intake Manifold ] Intake Manifold.

6 Plate Nut

7 Low Pressure Pipe

Tighten the union nut to 22 Nm.

Counter hold the pressure relief valve when loosening the union nuts.

Check the tightening specification for the pressure relief valve before installing.

Do not install when under tension.

8 Bracket

9 High Pressure Pipe

Tighten the union nuts to 27 Nm.

Counter hold the threaded connection when loosening the union nuts.

Check the tightening specification for the threaded connection before installing.

Do not install when under tension.

10 Bolt

3 Nm

11 Connector

For the fuel injectors.

12 Connector

For - items 16 and 17 -.

13 Connector

For - item 11 -.

14 Wire Strip

15 Clip

Attach to the intake manifold sleeve on the right side at the bottom.

16 Connector

For the camshaft position sensor (G40).

17 Connector

For the fuel pressure sensor.

18 Bolt

5 Nm

19 Fuel Pressure Sensor (G247)

22 Nm

Coat the thread and sealing point with clean engine oil.

Removing and installing, refer to => [ Fuel Pressure Sensor (G247) ] Service and Repair.

Checking, refer to => [ Fuel Pressure Sensor, Checking ] Testing and Inspection.

20 Threaded Connection
