Vehicle Inclination Sensor (G384)

The vehicle inclination sensor is clipped into a bracket behind the instrument cluster.

To remove the sensor, anti-theft warning system must be deactivated. Refer to => [ Anti-Theft Alarm System, Activating and Deactivating, Through 05.11 ] Anti-Theft Alarm System, Activating and Deactivating, Through 05.11.

Removal

- Switch off the ignition and all electrical consumers and remove the ignition key.

- Remove the instrument cluster. Refer to=> [ Instrument Cluster ] Instrument Cluster.

- Release the latching mechanism - arrow - and lift the vehicle inclination sensor - 1 - together with the bracket out of the cut-outs in the body shell.






- Release and disconnect the harness connector - arrow - and remove the vehicle inclination sensor - 1 - together with the bracket.






- Press the latching mechanism - arrow - outward and pull the vehicle inclination sensor - 1 - out of the bracket - 2 -.






Installation

- Installation is performed in the reverse order of removal. Note the following:

During installing of the bracket, ensure secure latching of the bracket in the body shell.
