Instrument Cluster






Instrument Cluster

Prior to replacing instrument cluster, perform work sequence "Instrument cluster, replacing" in order to read out the data stored in the control module. Refer to=> [ Instrument Cluster, Replacing ] Instrument Cluster, Replacing.

The function "New identity when replacing all components" must be called up after the instrument cluster is replaced to adapt the immobilizer. Refer to=> [ New Identity When Replacing All Components ] New Identity When Replacing All Components.

Removal

- Switch off the ignition and all electrical consumers and remove the ignition key.

- Pull the steering wheel all the way out and then lock it in the lowest position.

- Unclip the steering column trim gap cover from the instrument panel (steering column trim must not be removed).

- Unscrew both mounting bolts - arrows - from the instrument cluster.






- Pull the instrument cluster backward out of the instrument panel while being careful with the connected wires.

- Move the securing clip - 1 - in the - direction of the arrow - and disconnect the connector - 2 -.






- Remove the instrument cluster from the vehicle.

Installation

Install in reverse order of removal.
