1 Shock Absorber with Left Front Damping Adjustment Valve (N336)

• Individually replaceable.

• Allocation, refer to the Parts Catalog.

2 Rubber Stop

• Allocation, refer to the Parts Catalog.

3 Boot

4 Coil Spring

• Removing and installing, refer to => [ Coil Spring, Removing ] Front Suspension.

• Note the color code.

• Allocation, refer to the Parts Catalog.

Spring allocation via the Product Relevant (PR) number.

These numbers can be found on the vehicle data plate.

• The surface of coil spring may not be damaged.

5 Ball Bearing

6 Strut Bearing

• Note the installed position, refer to => [ One of the two marks on the strut mounting must point in the direction of travel. ] Strut, with Adaptive Chassis DCC.

7 Nut

• M14 x 1.5

• 60 Nm

• Self-locking.

• Always replace if removed.

8 Vehicle Body (Strut Tower)

9 Bracket

• For the left front body acceleration sensor.

• Removing and installing, refer to => [ Front Body Acceleration Sensor Bracket ] Front Body Acceleration Sensor Bracket.

• An "L" for "Left" is stamped on the bracket.

• Be sure to use the correct bracket.

10 Left Front Body Acceleration Sensor (G341)

• Removing and installing, refer to => [ Left Front Body Acceleration Sensor G341 ] Left Front Body Acceleration Sensor G341.

• Note the installed position of the bracket - item 9 -.

11 Bolt

• 5 Nm

• Always replace if removed.

12 Bolt

• M8 x 26

• 15 Nm + an additional 90° (1/4) turn.

• Always replace if removed.

13 Bracket

• For the right front body acceleration sensor.

• Removing and installing, refer to => [ Front Body Acceleration Sensor Bracket ] Front Body Acceleration Sensor Bracket.

• An "R" for "Right" is stamped on the bracket.

14 Right Front Body Acceleration Sensor (G342)

• Removing and installing, refer to => [ Right Front Body Acceleration Sensor G342 ] Right Front Body Acceleration Sensor G342.

• Note the installed position of the bracket - item 13 -.

15 Nut

• 5 Nm

• Always replace if removed.

The tab on the bracket - 1 - must fit into the recess in the sensor - arrow -.

• Be sure to use the correct bracket. An "L" is stamped on the bracket
