Defroster Door Motor (V107) with Position Sensor (G135)

Removing

- Disconnect the battery.

- Remove the instrument panel.

- Remove the driver footwell vent. Refer to => [ Footwell Vent, Driver Side ] Footwell Vent, Driver Side.

- Remove nuts- 1 - (9 Nm).

- Remove bolts - 4 - (9 Nm), remove bracket - 5 - from the heater and A/C unit - 2 - and from instrument panel cross member - 3 -.






- Disconnect the connector- 5 - from the defroster door motor - 1 -.

- Remove the bolts - 4 - (1.5 Nm).

- Loosen the connecting rod - 2 - on top of the defroster door.

- Remove the defroster door motor - 1 - and the connecting rod- 2 - from the heater and A/C unit.

- Disconnect the adjusting lever - 3 - for the defroster door motor - 1 - from the connecting rod - 2 -.






Installing

Install in reverse order of removal.

• After installing, function of defroster door must be checked.

• Perform a "basic setting" using the Vehicle Diagnostic Tester. Refer to => [ Checking and Adjusting Components, Automatic Control System ] Checking and Adjusting Components, Automatic Control System.

• Check and erase the DTC memory.
