Selector Mechanism Overview, from 03.09

Move the selector lever into the "P" position and set the parking brake before working with the engine running.






1 Selector Handle with Cover

• Do not remove the handle unnecessarily. Unclip only the cover for the emergency release. Refer to => [ Selector Lever, Manual Release ] Procedures.

• Removing and installing, refer to => [ Selector Lever Handle ] Selector Lever Handle.

2 Selector Lever and Selector Mechanism with Selector Lever Cable

• With the shift lock solenoid.

• Do not grease the cable.

• Removing and installing, refer to => [ Selector Lever and Mechanism with Selector Lever Cable, from 03.09 ] Selector Lever and Mechanism with Selector Lever Cable, from 03.09.

• Checking, refer to => [ Selector Lever Cable, Checking ] Testing and Inspection.

• Adjusting, refer to => [ Selector Lever Cable, Adjusting ] Adjustments.

3 Bolt

• 8 Nm

4 Nut

• 8 Nm

• Quantity: 4

5 Selector Housing

6 Retainer

• Always replace after removing.
