1 Bolt, 10 Nm

2 Cylinder Head Cover

• Removing and installing, refer to => [ Cylinder Head Cover ] Service and Repair.

• Tightening sequence, refer to => [ Cylinder Head Cover Bolt Tightening Sequence ] Service and Repair.

3 Gasket

• Replace if damaged or leaking.

4 Crankcase Ventilation Valve Housing

5 Oil Filler Cap

6 Gasket

• Replace if damaged or leaking.

7 Bolt, 4 Nm

8 Cylinder Head Cover Gasket

• Replace if damaged or leaking.

9 Vacuum Pump

10 Bolt, 4 Nm

11 Camshaft Adjustment Valve 1 (N205)

• Removing and installing, refer to => [ Camshaft Adjustment Valve 1 ] Camshaft Adjustment Valve 1.

12 Seal

• Always replace.

13 Bolt, 10 Nm

14 Wire Bracket

15 Seal

• Replace if damaged or leaking.

16 Bolt, 10 Nm

17 Housing

18 Gasket

• Always replace.

19 Transport Strap

20 Bolt, 25 Nm

21 Stud Bolt, 10 Nm

• For the intake manifold.

22 Partition Plate

23 Cylinder Head Gasket

• Replace

• Note installation position: Replacement part number facing cylinder head

24 Bolt, 10 Nm

25 Camshaft Position (CMP) Sensor (G40)

26 Seal

27 Stud Bolt, 10 Nm

• For the semi automatic tensioner roller.

28 Stud Bolt, 20 Nm

• For the exhaust manifold.

29 Cylinder Head Bolt

• Always replace.

• Follow the sequence for loosening and tightening, refer to => [ Cylinder Head ] Cylinder Head.

• Tightening specification: 40 Nm + 180° (1/2) additional turn.

Checking the Cylinder Head for Distortion





- Check the cylinder head at multiple points for distortion, using a straight edge and feeler gauges.

• Max. permissible distortion: 0.05 mm

If this value is exceeded, the cylinder head must be replaced. It is not permissible to rework the sealing surface.
