U340E AUTOMATIC TRANSMISSION / TRANSAXLE: TRANSMISSION CONTROL CABLE (for Hatchback): INSTALLATION

1. INSTALL TRANSMISSION CONTROL CABLE ASSEMBLY

(a) Connect the transmission control cable assembly to the control shaft lever with the nut.





Torque : 12 Nm (122 kgf-cm, 9 ft-lbf)

(b) Install the transmission control cable assembly to the No. 1 transmission control cable bracket with a new clip.

NOTICE:
Make sure that the marking on the cable is aligned with the slit in the No. 1 transmission control cable bracket before installing the cable.

(c) Install the transmission control cable assembly to the control cable support.

(d) Install the transmission control cable assembly with the 3 nuts.

Torque : 5.0 Nm (51 kgf-cm, 44 in-lbf)

2. INSTALL FRONT NO. 1 FLOOR HEAT INSULATOR

(a) Install the front No. 1 floor heat insulator with the 2 bolts and nut.

Torque : 5.5 Nm (56 kgf-cm, 49 in-lbf)

3. INSTALL FRONT EXHAUST PIPE ASSEMBLY
