Installation

2AR-FE COOLING: RADIATOR: INSTALLATION

1. INSTALL LOWER RADIATOR SUPPORT

(a) Install the 2 lower radiator supports to the radiator assembly.





2. INSTALL RADIATOR SUPPORT CUSHION

(a) Install the 2 radiator support cushions to the radiator assembly.





3. INSTALL FAN ASSEMBLY WITH MOTOR

(a) Install the fan assembly with motor to the radiator with the 2 guides at the bottom and 3 claws on the top.





4. INSTALL RADIATOR ASSEMBLY

(a) Install the radiator to the body.





NOTICE:
Do not apply any excessive force to the cooler condenser assembly or pipe when installing the radiator assembly.

(b) Install the condenser assembly with the 4 bolts.





Torque : 5.0 Nm (51 kgf-cm, 44 in-lbf)

(c) Connect the 2 fan motor connectors and the 3 clamps.





5. INSTALL UPPER RADIATOR SUPPORT

(a) Install the upper radiator support with the 5 bolts and connect the hood lock control cable clamp to the upper radiator support.





for Bolt A - Torque : 7.0 Nm (71 kgf-cm, 62 in-lbf)

for Bolt B - Torque : 12 Nm (122 kgf-cm, 9 ft-lbf)

(b) Connect the horn connectors.





6. INSTALL HOOD LOCK ASSEMBLY (w/o Engine Hood Courtesy Switch) Installation

7. INSTALL HOOD LOCK ASSEMBLY (w/ Engine Hood Courtesy Switch) Installation

8. CONNECT OUTLET RADIATOR HOSE

(a) Connect the outlet radiator hose to the radiator assembly.





9. CONNECT INLET RADIATOR HOSE

(a) Connect the inlet radiator hose to the radiator assembly.





10. CONNECT RADIATOR RESERVOIR TANK HOSE

(a) Connect the radiator reservoir tank hose to the radiator assembly.





11. INSTALL FRONT BUMPER ENERGY ABSORBER Reassembly

12. INSTALL FRONT BUMPER ASSEMBLY Installation

13. INSTALL INLET AIR CLEANER ASSEMBLY Installation

14. ADD ENGINE COOLANT Testing and Inspection

15. INSPECT FOR COOLANT LEAK Testing and Inspection

16. INSTALL ENGINE UNDER COVER LH

17. INSTALL ENGINE UNDER COVER RH

18. INSTALL FRONT WHEEL OPENING EXTENSION PAD RH

19. INSTALL FRONT WHEEL OPENING EXTENSION PAD LH
