SEAT BELT: FRONT SEAT INNER BELT ASSEMBLY (for Driver Side): INSTALLATION

CAUTION:
Some of these service operations affect the SRS airbag system. Read the precautionary notices concerning the SRS airbag system before servicing Service Precautions.

NOTICE:
Always use E10 "TORX" socket wrench when installing the front seat.

1. INSTALL FRONT SEAT INNER BELT ASSEMBLY LH (w/o Vertical Adjuster)

(a) Install the front seat inner belt assembly LH with the bolt.

Torque : 42 Nm (428 kgf-cm, 31 ft-lbf)

(b) Engage the front seat inner belt wire harness clamp.

(c) Connect the seat position sensor connector.

(d) Engage the 3 front seat inner belt wire harness clamps.

2. INSTALL FRONT SEAT INNER BELT ASSEMBLY LH (w/ Vertical Adjuster)

(a) Install the front seat inner belt assembly LH with the bolt.

Torque : 42 Nm (428 kgf-cm, 31 ft-lbf)

(b) Engage the 2 front seat inner belt wire harness clamps.

(c) Connect the seat position sensor connector.

(d) Engage the 3 front seat inner belt wire harness clamps.

(e) Engage the 2 hooks and install the front seatback cover band.

3. INSTALL FRONT SEAT CUSHION INNER SHIELD LH (w/o Vertical Adjuster) Reassembly

4. REMOVE FRONT SEAT CUSHION INNER SHIELD LH (w/ Vertical Adjuster) Reassembly

5. INSTALL FRONT SEAT ASSEMBLY LH

Installation

6. CONNECT CABLE TO NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL

Torque : 5.4 Nm (55 kgf-cm, 48 in-lbf)

7. INSPECT SRS WARNING LIGHT
