C1582/26 - Assist Map Number Mismatch

DESCRIPTION

When an incorrect ECU or brake actuator assembly (skid control ECU) is installed after the assist map has been recorded in the steering column assembly (power steering ECU), then DTC C1582/26 is stored because the data does not match the vehicle specifications.

NG -- REPLACE ECM Removal
OK -- Continue to next step.

3. CHECK SFI SYSTEM C1581

B -- GO TO SFI SYSTEM SFI System
A -- Continue to next step.

4. CHECK BRAKE ACTUATOR ASSEMBLY (SKID CONTROL ECU) C1581

NG -- REPLACE BRAKE ACTUATOR ASSEMBLY Removal
OK -- Continue to next step.

5. CHECK VEHICLE STABILITY CONTROL SYSTEM C1541
