DESCRIPTION

The vehicle speed signal from the brake actuator assembly (skid control ECU) is input to the electronic power steering column assembly (power steering ECU) through CAN communication.

NOTICE:
When the steering column assembly is replaced, perform the assist map writing Programming and Relearning.

PROCEDURE

1. CHECK DTC OUTPUT (CAN COMMUNICATION SYSTEM)

(a) Check for DTCs of the CAN communication system Diagnosis System.
