2AR-FE FUEL: FUEL PRESSURE PULSATION DAMPER: INSTALLATION

1. INSTALL FUEL PRESSURE PULSATION DAMPER ASSEMBLY

(a) Apply a light coat of gasoline or spindle oil to a new O-ring, and then install the O-ring to the fuel pressure pulsation damper.

(b) Install the fuel pressure pulsation damper with the 2 bolts.

Torque : 10 Nm (102 kgf-cm, 7 ft-lbf)

NOTICE:
Make sure that the O-ring is not cracked or jammed when installing the damper.

2. CONNECT FUEL TUBE SUB-ASSEMBLY Installation

3. INSTALL FUEL HOSE BRACKET Installation

4. INSTALL AIR CLEANER CAP SUB-ASSEMBLY Installation

5. CONNECT CABLE TO NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL

NOTICE:
When disconnecting the cable, some systems need to be initialized after the cable is reconnected Repair Instruction - Initialization.

6. INSPECT FOR FUEL LEAK Installation
