Removal





AUDIO / VIDEO: RADIO ANTENNA CORD: REMOVAL

1. DISCONNECT CABLE FROM NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL

CAUTION:
Wait at least 90 seconds after disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal to disable the SRS system.

NOTICE:
When disconnecting the cable, some systems need to be initialized after the cable is reconnected Repair Instruction - Initialization.

2. REMOVE UPPER INSTRUMENT PANEL SUB-ASSEMBLY

(a) Remove the upper instrument panel sub-assembly Removal.

3. REMOVE ANTENNA CORD SUB-ASSEMBLY

(a) Disconnect the 2 connectors.

(b) Remove the bolt.

(c) Detach the 4 clamps and remove the antenna cord.





4. REMOVE ROOF HEADLINING ASSEMBLY

(a) Remove the roof headlining assembly Removal.

5. REMOVE NO. 2 ANTENNA CORD SUB-ASSEMBLY

(a) w/o Sliding Roof:

(1) Remove the tape wrapped around the protrusions labeled A and B in the illustration.





(2) Remove all the tape and the antenna cord from the roof headlining.

(3) Remove the double-sided tape from the roof headlining.

(b) w/ Sliding Roof:

(1) Remove the tape wrapped around the protrusions labeled A and B in the illustration.





(2) Remove all the tape and the antenna cord from the roof headlining.

(3) Remove the double-sided tape from the roof headlining.
