SUSPENSION: FRONT LOWER BALL JOINT: INSTALLATION

INSTALLATION
HINT:
- Use the same procedures for the RH side and LH side.
- The procedures listed below are the LH side.

1. INSTALL FRONT LOWER BALL JOINT ASSEMBLY
(a) Secure the front axle assembly in a vise.
NOTICE: When using a vise, do not overtighten it.





(b) Install the front lower ball joint onto the front axle assembly with the nut.
Torque: 133 Nm (1356 kgf-cm, 98 ft-lbf)
(c) Install a new cotter pin.
NOTICE: Further tighten the nut up to 60° if the holes for the cotter pin are not aligned.

2. INSTALL FRONT AXLE ASSEMBLY Installation
3. CONNECT FRONT LOWER NO. 1 SUSPENSION ARM SUB-ASSEMBLY Installation
4. CONNECT TIE ROD END SUB-ASSEMBLY Installation
5. INSTALL FRONT DISC Installation
6. INSTALL FRONT DISC BRAKE CALIPER ASSEMBLY Installation
7. INSTALL FRONT SPEED SENSOR Installation
8. INSTALL FRONT AXLE HUB NUT Installation
9. INSTALL FRONT WHEEL
10. INSPECT AND ADJUST FRONT WHEEL ALIGNMENT
HINT: Inspect and adjust front wheel alignment Front Wheel Alignment.

11. CHECK FOR VSC SENSOR SIGNAL
