REMOVAL

1. DISCHARGE FUEL SYSTEM PRESSURE Removal
2. DRAIN COOLANT Service and Repair
3. REMOVE WINDSHIELD WIPER ARM COVER Removal
4. REMOVE FRONT WIPER ARM AND BLADE ASSEMBLY LH Removal
5. REMOVE FRONT WIPER ARM AND BLADE ASSEMBLY RH Removal
6. REMOVE HOOD TO COWL TOP SEAL Removal
7. REMOVE COWL TOP VENTILATOR LOUVER RH Removal
8. REMOVE COWL TOP VENTILATOR LOUVER LH Removal
9. REMOVE FRONT WIPER MOTOR AND LINK Removal
10. REMOVE OUTER COWL TOP PANEL Removal
11. REMOVE NO. 1 ENGINE COVER Removal
12. REMOVE AIR CLEANER CAP SUB-ASSEMBLY WITH NO. 1 AIR CLEANER HOSE Removal
13. REMOVE THROTTLE BODY ASSEMBLY Removal
14. REMOVE FUEL TUBE SUB-ASSEMBLY Removal
15. REMOVE FUEL DELIVERY PIPE SUB-ASSEMBLY WITH FUEL TUBE SUB-ASSEMBLY Removal
16. REMOVE INTAKE MANIFOLD





(a) Disconnect the ventilation hose.





(b) Disconnect the union to check valve hose.
(c) Separate the wire harness clamp from the intake manifold.





(d) Remove the 5 bolts, 2 nuts and intake manifold.





(e) Remove the intake manifold gasket.





17. REMOVE NO. 1 INTAKE MANIFOLD INSULATOR
(a) Remove the No. 1 intake manifold insulator.





18. REMOVE KNOCK SENSOR
(a) Disconnect the sensor connector.
(b) Remove the nut and knock sensor.
