2AZ-FE INTAKE: INTAKE MANIFOLD: REMOVAL

REMOVAL

1. DISCHARGE FUEL SYSTEM PRESSURE Removal
2. REMOVE WINDSHIELD WIPER ARM COVER Removal
3. REMOVE FRONT WIPER ARM AND BLADE ASSEMBLY LH Removal
4. REMOVE FRONT WIPER ARM AND BLADE ASSEMBLY RH Removal
5. REMOVE HOOD TO COWL TOP SEAL Removal
6. REMOVE COWL TOP VENTILATOR LOUVER RH Removal
7. REMOVE COWL TOP VENTILATOR LOUVER LH Removal
8. REMOVE FRONT WIPER MOTOR AND LINK Removal
9. REMOVE OUTER COWL TOP PANEL Removal
10. REMOVE NO. 1 ENGINE COVER SUB-ASSEMBLY Removal
11. REMOVE AIR CLEANER CAP SUB-ASSEMBLY WITH NO. 1 AIR CLEANER HOSE Removal
12. REMOVE THROTTLE BODY ASSEMBLY Removal
13. DISCONNECT FUEL TUBE SUB-ASSEMBLY

(a) Remove the EFI fuel pipe clamp.

(b) Disconnect the fuel tube sub-assembly.
14. REMOVE FUEL DELIVERY PIPE SUB-ASSEMBLY WITH FUEL TUBE SUB-ASSEMBLY

(a) Disconnect the injector connector and camshaft oil control valve connector.
(b) Disconnect the air fuel ratio sensor connector.
(c) Separate the wire harness.

(d) Separate the fuel tube sub-assembly.
(e) Remove the 2 bolts and remove the delivery pipe sub-assembly.

(f) Remove the No. 1 delivery pipe spacer.
(g) Remove the 4 insulators from the cylinder head.
15. REMOVE INTAKE MANIFOLD

(a) Disconnect the ventilation hose.

(b) Disconnect the union to connector tube hose.

(d) Remove the ventilation hose.

(e) Remove the bolt and remove the vacuum hose clamp.
(f) Remove the union to connector tube hose.

(g) Remove the throttle hose.
