2AZ-FE ENGINE CONTROL SYSTEM: CRANKSHAFT POSITION SENSOR: REMOVAL

CRANKSHAFT POSITION SENSOR: REMOVAL

1. DISCONNECT CABLE FROM NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL
CAUTION: Wait at least 90 seconds after disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal to prevent airbag and seat belt pretensioner activation.

2. REMOVE FRONT FENDER APRON SEAL RH Removal
3. REMOVE FAN AND GENERATOR V BELT Removal
4. REMOVE GENERATOR ASSEMBLY Removal





5. REMOVE CRANKSHAFT POSITION SENSOR
(a) Disconnect the sensor connector.
(b) Remove the connector clamp.
(c) Remove the wire harness from the wire harness clamp bracket.
(d) Remove the wire harness clamp.
(e) Remove the bolt and sensor.
