Removal and Installation for High-pressure Pipe


REMOVAL

1.Discharge the refrigerant. HFC-134A (R-134A) Service Procedure.
2.Remove the cowl top covers (RH/LH)(QR-25DE only). Service and Repair.
3.Reposition the lower dash insulator.
4.Disconnect the low-pressure flexible hose bracket to reposition it out of the way.
5.Remove the high-pressure pipe. Locations.

CAUTION:
Cap or wrap the joint of the pipe with suitable material such as vinyl tape to avoid the entry of air.

INSTALLATION

Installation is in the reverse order of removal.

CAUTION:
- Do not reuse O-rings.
- Apply A/C oil to the O-ring of the high-pressure pipe for installation.
- After charging the refrigerant, check for leaks. Checking Of Refrigerant Leaks.
