Removal
1. Remove the headliner.
2. Disconnect the 2 front and 2 rear drain hoses.
3. Disconnect the roof opening panel motor electrical connector.
4. Position the roof opening panel motor wiring harness aside.
- Remove the tie strap.
- Release the 5 wiring harness retaining clips.

5. CAUTION: Support the roof opening panel to prevent the unit from dropping.

Remove the 6 roof opening panel frame bolts.

6. Remove the 2 roof opening panel support strap bolts.
7. Remove the roof opening panel.

Installation

1. NOTE: Make sure the roof opening panel motor wiring harness is not pinched by the roof opening panel frame.

Position the roof opening panel to the vehicle.

2. Install the 6 roof opening panel frame bolts and tighten in the sequence shown.
- Tighten to 10 Nm (89 lb-in).







3. Install the 2 roof opening panel support strap bolts.
- Tighten to 10 Nm (89 lb-in).

4. Connect the roof opening panel motor electrical connector.
5. Position the roof opening panel motor wiring harness.
- Attach the 5 wiring harness retaining clips.
- Install the tie strap.

6. Connect the 2 front and 2 rear drain hoses.
7. Install the headliner.
8. Align the roof opening panel glass. For additional information, refer to Roof Opening Panel Alignment. Adjustments
9. Initialize the roof opening panel motor. For additional information, refer to Roof Opening Panel Motor Initialization. Programming and Relearning
