Hood: Service and Repair

HOOD

Removal
1. Remove hood insulation.







2. Pull windshield washer hoses off and unclip.
3. Remove windshield washer nozzles.







4. Mark hinge position with felt pen.







5. NOTE: Get help from second technician.

Support hood on stay, undo hinge bolts and remove hood.

Installation







1. Install the components in reverse order.
1 Adjust the hood gap; refer to hood alignment. Adjustments

2. Check function of hood.
