J6 Check Electronic Speed Control System For Speed Signal

- Disconnect speed control servo.

- Using an ohmmeter, Rotunda 73 Digital Multimeter 105-R0051 or equivalent, measure the resistance of circuit 679 (GY/BK) from pin 3 of speed control servo connector to pin 1 of 60-pin breakout box.

- Is resistance greater than 1000 ohms?

YES -- Problem in speed control.

NO -- Go to J7. J7 Check Variable Assist Power Steering System
