J1 Check Circuit 679 (GY/BK) For Short to Ground

- Turn ignition switch to OFF.

- Disconnect anti-lock brake control module 28-pin connector.

- Connect Rotunda 60-pin Breakout Box 014-00322 with Anti-Lock Brake Adapter 007-00116 or equivalents to the 28-pin harness connector.

- Using an ohmmeter, Rotunda 73 Digital Multimeter 105-R0051 or equivalent, measure resistance between pin 12 and pin 1 of 60-pin breakout box.

- Is resistance greater than 1000 ohms?

YES -- Go to J2. J2 Check Vehicle Speed Output

NO -- Go to J4. J4 Check Instrument Cluster For Speed Signal
