NA6 - Check For IDM Short In PCM - PCM Disconnected KOEC

- Key Off.

- Disconnect PCM.

- DVOM on 40 volt AC scale.

- Crank engine and measure voltage between J30 (EI diagnostic harness IDM detector) and (-)J7 (B-) at breakout box.

- Is AC voltage less than 5.0 volts?

YES -- GO to NA7. NA7 - Check For IDM Short High In Harness

NO -- REPLACE PCM. PCM is loading IDM signal. REMOVE all test equipment. RECONNECT all components. Clear continuous memory. Clearing Diagnostic Trouble Codes
