NA7 - Check For IDM Short High In Harness

- Key Off.

- DVOM on 40 volt DC scale.

- Key On, Engine Off.

- Measure voltage between (+)J41 (IDM I) and (-)J7 (B-) at breakout box.

- Is DC voltage less than 0.5 volts?

YES -- GO to NA8. NA8 - Check For IDM Short to Ground In Harness

NO -- CHECK connectors, SERVICE or REPLACE harness. IDM is shorted high. REMOVE all test equipment. RECONNECT all components. Clear continuous memory. Clearing Diagnostic Trouble Codes
