JA30 - Check Plugs and Wires - Key Off

- Check spark plug wires for insulation damage, looseness, shorting or other damage.

- Remove and check spark plugs for damage, wear, carbon deposits and proper plug gap.

- Examine all wiring harnesses and connectors for damaged, burned or overheated insulation, damaged pins and loose or broken conditions.

- Check sensor shield connector.

- Are spark plugs and wires OK?

YES -- REINSTALL plugs and wires. Go to JA31. JA31 - Check For Vehicle Start - Diagnostic Harness Installed

NO -- SERVICE or REPLACE damaged component. REMOVE all test equipment. RECONNECT all components. Clear continuous memory. Clearing Diagnostic Trouble Codes
