HV12 - Check CANP SIG Circuit For Short to Ground

- Key Off.

- Breakout box installed, PCM disconnected.

- Disconnect Scan Tool from Data Link Connector (DLC).

- Measure the resistance between Test Pin 67 (CANP SIG) and Test Pins 91 (SIG RTN) and 24 or 103 (PWR GND) at the breakout box.

- Is each resistance greater than 10,000 ohms?

YES -- CANP SIG possibly shorted to ground in PCM. Go to HV13. HV13 - Check CANP SIG Circuit For Short to VPWR

NO -- SERVICE short to ground in CANP SIG harness circuit. REMOVE breakout box. RECONNECT all components. Complete PCM reset to clear DTCs. Clearing Diagnostic Trouble Codes
