- Attempt to start engine at part throttle.

- Will engine start and run smoothly at part throttle?

YES -- Go to KE2. KE2 - DTC 0505 or Starts Only at Part Throttle

NO -- Go to A6. A6 - Check For VREF at Throttle Position (TP) Sensor
