Removal





CLUTCH: CLUTCH MASTER CYLINDER: REMOVAL

1. PRECAUTION (w/ Navigation System for HDD)

NOTICE:
After the engine switch is turned off, the display and navigation module display (HDD navigation system) records various types of memory and settings. As a result, after turning the engine switch off, make sure to wait at least 60 seconds before disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal.

3. DISCONNECT CABLE FROM NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL

4. REMOVE DRIVER SIDE KNEE AIRBAG ASSEMBLY

Removal

5. DISCONNECT WIRE HARNESS

(a) Disconnect the 3 connectors and clamp.





6. DISCONNECT CLUTCH RESERVOIR TUBE Removal

7. DISCONNECT CLUTCH LINE

(a) Using a union nut wrench (10 mm), disconnect the clutch line from the clutch master cylinder.





HINT
Use a container to catch the fluid.

8. REMOVE CLUTCH PEDAL SUPPORT SUB-ASSEMBLY Removal

9. REMOVE CLUTCH PEDAL SWITCH ASSEMBLY

(a) Remove the nut and clutch pedal switch assembly from the clutch pedal support.

10. REMOVE CLUTCH MASTER CYLINDER PUSH ROD CLEVIS PIN

(a) Remove the clip and pin.





11. REMOVE CLUTCH MASTER CYLINDER ASSEMBLY

(a) Remove the clutch reservoir tube.





(b) Remove the 2 bolts and clutch master cylinder assembly.
