Removal





CLUTCH: CLUTCH PEDAL: REMOVAL

1. PRECAUTION (w/ Navigation System for HDD)

NOTICE:
After the engine switch is turned off, the display and navigation module display (HDD navigation system) records various types of memory and settings. As a result, after turning the engine switch off, make sure to wait at least 60 seconds before disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal.

3. DISCONNECT CABLE FROM NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL

4. REMOVE DRIVER SIDE KNEE AIRBAG ASSEMBLY

Removal

5. DISCONNECT WIRE HARNESS

(a) Disconnect the 3 connectors and 2 clamps.





6. DISCONNECT CLUTCH RESERVOIR TUBE

(a) Disconnect the clutch reservoir tube.





HINT
Use a container to catch the fluid.

7. DISCONNECT CLUTCH LINE Removal

8. REMOVE CLUTCH PEDAL SUPPORT SUB-ASSEMBLY

(a) Remove the 2 nuts, bolt and clutch pedal support sub-assembly.





9. REMOVE CLUTCH PEDAL SWITCH ASSEMBLY

(a) Remove the nut and clutch pedal switch assembly from the clutch pedal support sub-assembly.

10. REMOVE CLUTCH SWITCH ASSEMBLY

(a) Loosen the nut and remove the clutch switch assembly from the clutch pedal support sub-assembly.

11. REMOVE CLUTCH MASTER CYLINDER PUSH ROD CLEVIS PIN Removal

12. REMOVE PEDAL WITH HOOK SPRING

(a) While the clutch pedal is fully depressed, remove the hook spring.

13. REMOVE CLUTCH PEDAL SUB-ASSEMBLY

(a) Remove the bolt, nut, washer and clutch pedal sub-assembly from the clutch pedal support sub-assembly.





14. REMOVE CLUTCH PEDAL SPRING HOLDER

(a) Remove the clutch pedal spring holder from the clutch pedal support sub-assembly.





15. REMOVE CLUTCH PEDAL TURNOVER BUSHING

(a) Remove the clutch pedal turnover bushing from the clutch pedal sub-assembly.





16. REMOVE CLUTCH PEDAL SHAFT COLLAR

(a) Remove the 2 clutch pedal bushings and clutch pedal shaft collar from the clutch pedal sub-assembly.





17. REMOVE CLUTCH PEDAL CUSHION

(a) Remove the 3 clutch pedal cushions.





18. REMOVE CLUTCH PEDAL PAD

(a) Remove the clutch pedal pad from the clutch pedal.

19. REMOVE CLUTCH MASTER CYLINDER PUSH ROD CLEVIS BUSHING

(a) Using an 8 mm hexagon wrench and a hammer, remove the clevis bushing from the clutch pedal sub-assembly.
