Installation

CELLULAR COMMUNICATION: DCM(TELEMATICS TRANSCEIVER): INSTALLATION

1. INSTALL DCM (TELEMATICS TRANSCEIVER)

2. INSTALL NO. 1 TELEPHONE BRACKET

(a) Install the No. 1 telephone bracket with the 2 screws.





3. INSTALL NO. 2 TELEPHONE BRACKET

(a) Install the No. 2 telephone bracket with the 2 screws.





4. INSTALL DCM (TELEMATICS TRANSCEIVER) WITH BRACKET

(a) Install the DCM (telematics transceiver) with bracket with the bolt and nut.





Bolt - Torque : 12 Nm (122 kgf-cm, 9 ft-lbf)

(b) Engage the clamp.





(c) Connect each connector.

5. INSTALL GLOVE COMPARTMENT DOOR ASSEMBLY Installation

6. INSTALL FRONT PASSENGER SIDE KNEE AIRBAG ASSEMBLY Installation

7. INSTALL NO. 2 INSTRUMENT PANEL UNDER COVER SUB-ASSEMBLY Installation

8. INSTALL SIDE INSTRUMENT PANEL RH Installation

9. INSTALL FRONT DOOR OPENING TRIM COVER RH

Use the same procedure for the RH side and LH side Installation.

10. INSTALL FRONT DOOR SCUFF PLATE RH (w/o Illumination)

Use the same procedure for the RH side and LH side Installation.

11. INSTALL FRONT DOOR SCUFF PLATE RH (w/ Illumination)

HINT
Use the same procedure for the RH side and LH side Installation.

12. CONNECT CABLE TO NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL

13. INSPECT SRS WARNING LIGHT

(a) Inspect the SRS warning light Diagnosis System.

14. DCM ACTIVATION

When replacing the DCM (telematics transceiver), perform the vehicle contract setting DCM Activation.
