Installation

AIR CONDITIONING: CONDENSER (for 1UR-FSE): INSTALLATION

1. INSTALL COOLER CONDENSER ASSEMBLY

(a) Install the cooler condenser with the 4 bolts.

Torque : 5.0 Nm (51 kgf-cm, 44 in-lbf)

HINT
If the condenser is replaced with a new one, add compressor oil to the new condenser.

Capacity:

40 cc (1.4 fl. oz.)

Compressor oil:

ND-8 or equivalent

2. INSTALL DISCHARGE HOSE SUB-ASSEMBLY

(a) Remove the vinyl tape attached to the pipe and connecting part of the cooler condenser.

(b) Sufficiently apply compressor oil to a new O-ring and the fitting surface of the pipe joint.

Compressor oil:

ND-OIL 8 or equivalent

(c) Install the O-ring on the liquid tube sib-assembly A.

(d) Install the liquid tube sib-assembly A on the cooler condenser with the 2 bolts.

Torque : 5.4 Nm (55 kgf-cm, 47 in-lbf)

4. INSTALL RADIATOR AND FAN ASSEMBLY Installation

5. CONNECT NO. 2 RADIATOR HOSE Installation

6. CONNECT NO. 1 RADIATOR HOSE Installation

7. CONNECT OIL COOLER HOSE Installation

8. INSTALL UPPER RADIATOR SUPPORT SUB-ASSEMBLY Installation

9. INSTALL ENGINE ROOM ECU OUTLET DUCT Installation

10. INSTALL RADIATOR RESERVE TANK ASSEMBLY Installation

11. INSTALL HOOD LOCK ASSEMBLY

12. INSTALL HOOD LOCK CONTROL CABLE COVER Installation

13. INSTALL MILLIMETER WAVE RADAR SENSOR ASSEMBLY (w/ Dynamic Radar Cruise Control System) Installation

14. ADJUST MILLIMETER WAVE RADAR SENSOR ASSEMBLY (w/ Dynamic Radar Cruise Control System) Adjustments

15. INSTALL RADIATOR SUPPORT OPENING COVER Installation

16. INSTALL FRONT BUMPER ENERGY ABSORBER Installation

17. INSTALL FRONT BUMPER ASSEMBLY Installation

18. INSTALL AIR CLEANER CASE SUB-ASSEMBLY Installation

19. INSTALL AIR CLEANER CAP SUB-ASSEMBLY Installation

20. INSTALL NO. 1 AIR CLEANER INLET Installation

21. ADD ENGINE COOLANT Service and Repair

22. INSPECT FOR COOLANT LEAK Testing and Inspection

23. CHARGE REFRIGERANT Service and Repair

24. WARM UP ENGINE Service and Repair

25. INSPECT FOR REFRIGERANT LEAK Service and Repair

26. INSTALL V-BANK COVER SUB-ASSEMBLY Installation

27. INSTALL ENGINE ROOM SIDE COVER LH Installation

28. INSTALL ENGINE ROOM SIDE COVER RH Installation

29. INSTALL COOL AIR INTAKE DUCT SEAL Installation
