Installation

1UR-FSE COOLING: RADIATOR: INSTALLATION

1. INSTALL RADIATOR ASSEMBLY

(a) Install the fan assembly with motor to the radiator with the 2 guides at the bottom and snap fit on the top.

(b) Install the 2 bolts.

Torque : 5.0 Nm (51 kgf-cm, 44 in-lbf)

(c) Install the oil cooler pipe with the 2 bolts.

Torque : 5.5 Nm (56 kgf-cm, 49 in-lbf)

(d) Connect the 2 oil cooler hoses to the radiator assembly.

2. INSTALL RADIATOR SUPPORT CUSHION

(a) Install the 2 radiator support cushions to the radiator assembly.

3. INSTALL LOWER RADIATOR SUPPORT

(a) Install the 2 lower radiator supports to the radiator assembly.

4. INSTALL RADIATOR AND FAN ASSEMBLY

(a) Install the radiator assembly to the vehicle together with the fan assembly.

NOTICE:
Make sure that the cooler condenser assembly and radiator assembly do not come into contact with each other.

(b) Install the 4 bolts and the cooler condenser assembly to the radiator assembly.

Torque : 5.0 Nm (51 kgf-cm, 44 in-lbf)

5. CONNECT NO. 2 RADIATOR HOSE

(a) Connect the No. 2 radiator hose to the radiator assembly.

6. CONNECT NO. 1 RADIATOR HOSE

(a) Connect the No. 1 radiator hose to the radiator assembly.

7. CONNECT OIL COOLER HOSE

(a) Connect the 2 oil cooler hoses to the oil cooler pipe.

8. INSTALL UPPER RADIATOR SUPPORT SUB-ASSEMBLY

(a) Install the upper radiator support with the 5 bolts.

Torque : 8.0 Nm (82 kgf-cm, 71 in-lbf)

(b) Connect the 2 cooling fan motor connectors.

(d) Install the 2 clamps and the wire harness to the upper radiator support.

(e) Install the 5 clamps and the wire harness to the upper radiator support.

(f) Connect the 2 horn connectors.

(g) Connect the smog ventilation sensor connector.

9. INSTALL ENGINE ROOM ECU OUTLET DUCT

(a) Install the engine room ECU outlet duct to the engine room ECU box.

10. INSTALL RADIATOR RESERVE TANK ASSEMBLY

(a) Install the radiator reserve tank assembly with the 2 bolts and 2 reserve tank hoses.

Torque : 5.0 Nm (51 kgf-cm, 44 in-lbf)

11. INSTALL HOOD LOCK ASSEMBLY Installation

12. INSTALL HOOD LOCK CONTROL CABLE COVER

(a) Install the hood lock control cable cover with the 3 screws and claw.

13. INSTALL MILLIMETER WAVE RADAR SENSOR ASSEMBLY (w/ Dynamic Radar Cruise Control System) Installation

14. INSTALL RADIATOR SUPPORT OPENING COVER

(a) Install the radiator support opening cover with the 6 clips.

15. INSTALL FRONT BUMPER ENERGY ABSORBER Installation

16. INSTALL AIR CLEANER CASE SUB-ASSEMBLY Installation

17. INSTALL AIR CLEANER CAP SUB-ASSEMBLY Installation

18. INSTALL NO. 1 AIR CLEANER INLET Installation

19. ADD ENGINE COOLANT Service and Repair

20. INSPECT FOR COOLANT LEAK Testing and Inspection

21. INSTALL ENGINE UNDER COVER

22. ADJUST MILLIMETER WAVE RADAR SENSOR ASSEMBLY (w/ Dynamic Radar Cruise Control System) Adjustments

23. INSTALL FRONT BUMPER ASSEMBLY Installation

24. INSTALL V-BANK COVER SUB-ASSEMBLY Installation

25. INSTALL ENGINE ROOM SIDE COVER LH Installation

26. INSTALL ENGINE ROOM SIDE COVER RH Installation

27. INSTALL COOL AIR INTAKE DUCT SEAL Installation

28. REMOVE PUT VEHICLE IN THESE CONDITIONS Adjustments

29. ADJUST FOG LIGHT AIM Adjustments
