BRAKE CONTROL: ELECTRONICALLY CONTROLLED BRAKE SYSTEM: C1345/66, C1368/67: Linear Solenoid Valve Offset Learning Undone


DESCRIPTION

The skid control ECU stores and corrects the difference in each individual part such as the stroke sensor, actuator solenoids. Perform initialization of linear solenoid valve and calibration if these parts are replaced.

The DTCs are cancelled when the result of linear valve offset learning is normal.

Refer to DTCs C1315/31, C1316/32, C1352/21, C1353/23, C1354/25, C1355/27, C1356/22, C1357/24, C1358/26 and C1359/28 C1315.

INSPECTION PROCEDURE

NOTICE:
When replacing the brake actuator assembly, perform initialization of linear solenoid valve and calibration Initialization.

PROCEDURE

1. CHECK DTC

(a) Clear the DTCs Electronically Controlled Brake System.

(b) Turn the engine switch off.

(c) Turn the engine switch on (IG).

(d) Check that the DTCs (Electronically Controlled Brake System and SFI system) are recorded.

B -- REPAIR ENGINE CONTROL SYSTEM ACCORDING TO DTC OUTPUT SFI System

2. PERFORM INITIALIZATION OF LINEAR SOLENOID VALVE AND CALIBRATION

(a) Perform initialization of the linear solenoid valve and calibration Initialization.

3. RECONFIRM DTC

(a) Clear the DTCs Electronically Controlled Brake System.

(b) Turn the engine switch on (IG).

(c) Check if the same DTCs are recorded Electronically Controlled Brake System.
