DOOR LOCK: REAR DOOR LOCK: REMOVAL
1. PRECAUTION
NOTICE:
After turning the power switch off, waiting time may be required before disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal. Therefore, make sure to read the disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal notices before proceeding with work Service Precautions.
2. REMOVE REAR NO. 2 FLOOR BOARD Removal
3. REMOVE REAR DECK FLOOR BOX Removal
4. REMOVE REAR NO. 3 FLOOR BOARD Removal
5. REMOVE DECK FLOOR BOX RH Removal
6. REMOVE REAR FLOOR BOARD UPPER NO. 3 PLATE Removal
7. DISCONNECT CABLE FROM NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL
CAUTION:
Wait at least 90 seconds after disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal to disable the SRS system.
NOTICE:
When disconnecting the cable, some systems need to be initialized after the cable is reconnected Repair Instruction - Initialization.

10. REMOVE REAR POWER WINDOW REGULATOR SWITCH ASSEMBLY WITH REAR DOOR ARMREST BASE PANEL Disassembly
11. REMOVE REAR DOOR ARMREST COVER Disassembly
12. REMOVE REAR DOOR TRIM BOARD SUB-ASSEMBLY Disassembly
13. REMOVE REAR DOOR INNER GLASS WEATHERSTRIP Disassembly
14. REMOVE REAR DOOR TRIM BRACKET Disassembly
15. REMOVE REAR DOOR SERVICE HOLE COVER Disassembly
16. REMOVE REAR DOOR CHECK ASSEMBLY Disassembly
17. REMOVE REAR DOOR WEATHERSTRIP Disassembly
18. REMOVE REAR DOOR GLASS RUN Disassembly
19. REMOVE NO. 1 REAR DOOR VENT SEAL Disassembly
20. REMOVE REAR DOOR WINDOW DIVISION BAR SUB-ASSEMBLY Disassembly
21. REMOVE REAR DOOR QUARTER WINDOW GLASS Disassembly
22. REMOVE REAR DOOR GLASS SUB-ASSEMBLY Disassembly
23. REMOVE REAR DOOR LOCK ASSEMBLY
(a) Using a T30 "TORX" socket wrench, remove the 3 screws.
(b) Move the rear door lock assembly downward and pull the release plate out of the rear door outside handle frame.
(c) Remove the door lock wiring harness seal from the rear door lock assembly.
(d) Using a screwdriver, disengage the claw.
HINT
Tape the screwdriver tip before use.
(e) Remove the rear door lock remote control cable assembly.
(f) Using a screwdriver, disengage the 3 claws.
HINT
Tape the screwdriver tip before use.
(g) Remove the rear door inside locking cable assembly.
