B15B0 - Display Screen Malfunction

DESCRIPTION

This DTC is stored when a malfunction occurs in the display and navigation module display or multi-display assembly.

HINT
* The trouble area cannot be determined by checking DTCs with the Techstream. It is necessary to display the "System Check Mode" screen to determine the trouble area.
* If the picture circuit is faulty, the display and navigation module display or the multi-display assembly stores the DTC.
* If the multi-display open/close function is malfunctioning, the multi-display assembly stores the DTC.
This DTC is stored when a malfunction occurs in the multi-display assembly.





INSEPCTION PROCEDURE

PROCEDURE

1. CLEAR DTC

(a) Clear the DTC Navigation System (for HDD).

NEXT -- Continue to next step.

2. CHECK FOREIGN OBJECT

(a) Check the area around the multi-display assembly for obstacles or protrusions which may interrupt opening/closing of the multi-display, and also check for foreign objects stuck in moving parts. If any foreign objects are present, remove them.

NEXT -- Continue to next step.

3. CHECK DTC

* The trouble area cannot be determined by checking DTCs with the Techstream. It is necessary to display the "System Check Mode" screen to determine the trouble area.
* If the picture circuit is faulty, the multi-display assembly or the display and navigation module display stores the DTC.
* If the multi-display open/close function is malfunctioning, the multi-display assembly stores the DTC.
(a) Display the "System Check Mode" screen. Navigation System (for HDD).

4. REPLACE MULTI-DISPLAY ASSEMBLY

(a) Replace the multi-display assembly Removal.

(b) Clear the DTCs Navigation System (for HDD).

(c) Recheck for DTCs and check if the same DTC is output again.

OK:

No DTCs are output.

NG -- REPLACE DISPLAY AND NAVIGATION MODULE DISPLAY Removal

OK -- END
