SUSPENSION: REAR NO. 2 SUSPENSION ARM: INSTALLATION
INSTALLATION
HINT:
- Use the same procedures for the RH side and LH side.
- The procedures listed below are for the LH side.
- A bolt without a torque specification is shown in the standard bolt chart Standard Bolt - Specified Torque For Standard Bolts.
1. TEMPORARILY INSTALL REAR NO. 2 SUSPENSION ARM ASSEMBLY LH
(a) Temporarily install the rear No. 2 suspension arm to the suspension member with the bolt, washer and nut.
HINT: After stabilizing the suspension, tighten the nut.
(b) Install the nut, No. 2 camber adjusting cam and No. 1 camber adjusting cam.
(c) Align the matchmarks on the adjusting cam and rear No. 2 suspension arm.
HINT: After stabilizing the suspension, tighten the nut.
(d) Connect the shock absorber to the rear No. 2 suspension arm with the bolt and nut.
HINT: After stabilizing the suspension, tighten the nut.
(e) Connect the stabilizer link and the height control sensor link to the rear suspension arm No. 2 LH with the bolt and nut.
2. INSTALL REAR WHEEL
(a) Install the wheel with the 5 nuts.
Torque: 103 Nm (1,050 kgf-cm, 76 ft-lbf)
3. STABILIZE SUSPENSION Installation
4. TIGHTEN REAR NO. 2 SUSPENSION ARM ASSEMBLY LH
(a) Tighten the bolt and nut to the suspension member.
Torque: 110 Nm (1,120 kgf-cm, 81 ft-lbf)
(b) Fix the nut and tighten the bolt to the shock absorber.
Torque: 110 Nm (1,120 kgf-cm, 81 ft-lbf)
NOTE:
Do not tighten the nut.
(c) Tighten the bolt to the stabilizer link.
Torque: 30 Nm (306 kgf-cm, 22 ft-lbf)
5. INSTALL WHEEL HUB ORNAMENT SUB-ASSEMBLY
(a) Install the ornament with the 10 bolts.
Torque: 20 Nm (204 kgf-cm, 15 ft-lbf)
6. INSPECT AND ADJUST REAR WHEEL ALIGNMENT
(a) Inspect and adjust the rear wheel alignment Rear Wheel Alignment.
