Tire Pressure Warning Light Circuit
DESCRIPTION
When the tire pressure decreases, the tire pressure warning ECU and receiver sends the communication signal to the combination meter through the BEAN, and it illuminates the tire pressure warning light on the combination meter.
The tire pressure warning light also blinks and then remains on when the signal for the tire pressure warning light is cut off.
HINT: Refer to the "TIRE PRESSURE WARNING LIGHT CHART" section of the "DIAGNOSIS SYSTEM" for checking the condition of the tire pressure warning light Diagnosis System.

INSPECTION PROCEDURE
NOTICE:
- When replacing the tire pressure warning ECU and receiver, read the IDs stored in the old ECU using the Techstream and write them down before removal.
- It is necessary to perform initialization Initialization after registration Registration of the transmitter IDs into the tire pressure warning ECU and receiver after the ECU and/or valve and transmitter has been replaced.
PROCEDURE
1. CHECK OPERATION TIRE PRESSURE WARNING LIGHT (ACTIVE TEST)
(a) Turn the ignition switch OFF.
(b) Connect the Techstream to the DLC3.
(c) Turn the ignition switch ON and the Techstream on.
(d) Enter the following menus: Body Electrical / Combination Meter / Active Test.
(e) Check the condition of the tire pressure warning light by operating the Techstream.
Combination meter
OK:
The warning light turns on/off when operating the Techstream.
NG -- GO TO METER / GAUGE SYSTEM (HOW TO PROCEED WITH TROUBLESHOOTING)
OK -- CHECK ECU POWER SOURCE CIRCUIT
