ECU Power Source Circuit

DESCRIPTION

This is the power source for the tire pressure warning ECU and receiver. It also supplies the power to the tire pressure warning antenna via the ECU.

INSPECTION PROCEDURE
NOTICE:
- When replacing the tire pressure warning ECU and receiver, read the IDs stored in the old ECU using the Techstream and write them down before removal.
- It is necessary to perform initialization Initialization after registration Registration of the transmitter IDs into the tire pressure warning ECU and receiver after the ECU and/or valve and transmitter has been replaced.

PROCEDURE

1. INSPECT FUSE (P-IG)
(a) Remove the P-IG fuse from the passenger side junction block.
(b) Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.
Standard resistance:






NG -- CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (IG TERMINAL - BODY GROUND)
OK -- Continue to next step.
2. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (ECU AND RECEIVER - BATTERY AND BODY GROUND)




(a) Disconnect the T9 ECU and receiver connector.
(b) Measure the voltage and resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.
Standard voltage:






Standard resistance:






NG -- REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR
OK -- REPLACE TIRE PRESSURE WARNING ECU AND RECEIVER
3. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (IG TERMINAL - BODY GROUND)
(a) Disconnect the T9 ECU and receiver connector.




(b) Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.
Standard resistance:






NG -- REPLACE FUSE AND REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR
OK -- REPLACE FUSE
