DTC C2192/92 - Select Switch Error (Test Mode DTC)
DESCRIPTION
The tire pressure warning select switch has 2 positions: "MAIN" and "2nd". 2 sets of transmitter IDs (2 sets of tires) can be registered in the tire pressure warning ECU and receiver.

INSPECTION PROCEDURE
NOTICE:
- When replacing the tire pressure warning ECU and receiver, read the IDs stored in the old ECU using the Techstream and write them down before removal.
- It is necessary to perform initialization Initialization after registration Registration of the transmitter IDs into the tire pressure warning ECU and receiver after the ECU and/or valve and transmitter has been replaced.
PROCEDURE
1. CHECK TIRE PRESSURE WARNING SELECT SWITCH (DATA LIST)
(a) Turn the ignition switch OFF.
(b) Connect the Techstream to the DLC3.
(c) Turn the ignition switch ON and the Techstream on.
(d) Enter the following menus: Chassis / Tire Pressure Monitor / Data List.
(e) Check that the value displayed on the Techstream changes when pressing the tire pressure warning select switch.
Tire Pressure Monitor
OK:
Tire pressure warning select switch value changes.
NG -- INSPECT TIRE PRESSURE WARNING SELECT SWITCH
OK -- USE SIMULATION METHOD TO CHECK
2. INSPECT TIRE PRESSURE WARNING SELECT SWITCH
(a) Remove the tire pressure warning select switch.
(b) Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.
Standard resistance:
NG -- REPLACE TIRE PRESSURE WARNING SELECT SWITCH
OK -- Continue to next step.
3. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (SELECT SWITCH - ECU AND RECEIVER, BODY GROUND)
(a) Disconnect the T9 ECU and receiver connector.
(b) Disconnect the T11 switch connector.
(c) Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.
Standard resistance:
NG -- REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR
OK -- REPLACE TIRE PRESSURE WARNING ECU AND RECEIVER
