LIGHTING: HEADLIGHT DIMMER SWITCH: INSTALLATION

INSTALLATION

1. INSTALL HEADLIGHT DIMMER SWITCH ASSEMBLY





(a) Insert the headlight dimmer switch assembly into the steering column making sure that the stopper's protrusions and cutout parts align.





(b) Install the headlight dimmer switch assembly with the band clamp and claw.
2. INSTALL WINDSHIELD WIPER SWITCH ASSEMBLY





(a) Attach the claw and install the windshield wiper switch.
(b) Connect the connectors.
3. INSTALL STEERING COLUMN COVER (W/O Driver Monitor Camera) Installation
4. INSTALL STEERING COLUMN COVER (W/ Driver Monitor Camera) Installation
5. INSPECT SPIRAL CABLE SUB- ASSEMBLY Testing and Inspection
6. INSTALL STEERING WHEEL ASSEMBLY Installation
7. INSPECT STEERING WHEEL CENTER POINT
8. INSPECT STEERING PAD ASSEMBLY Installation
9. INSTALL STEERING PAD ASSEMBLY Installation
10. INSTALL LOWER NO. 2 STEERING WHEEL COVER Installation
11. INSTALL SWITCH AND VOLUME CASE Installation
12. CONNECT CABLE TO NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL
NOTE:
Reset the AUTO TILT AWAY function setting to the previous condition by changing the customize parameter Programming and Relearning.

13. INSTALL COWL TOP VENTILATOR LOUVER RH Installation
14. CHECK SRS WARNING LIGHT
(a) Check the SRS warning light Diagnosis System.
15. PERFORM INITIALIZATION
(a) Perform initialization Repair Instruction - Initialization.
NOTE:
Certain systems need to be initialized after disconnecting and reconnecting the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal.
